I havent been able to log in to my account for months. CIBC has known about the problem and has done nothing. Stupid app by a stupid bank written by stupid people. I hope CIBC goes bankrupt.
I am not smart enough to remember my account numbers. The app should do that for me. It doesnt. So I cant use it.

The Executive of Investor services should be FIRED. This bank hasnt upgraded a darn thing in the Investor Application. The App is as bad as the online. Stop changing the logo every Christmas and actually put the Billions of profit dollars to work for your customers. Strongly encourage new customers to try a different bank if you want to do app based banking. Im through with CIBC.
Why not invest some time in this app. The mobile banking app is great. Get the same Team on this and it will be great
Very disappointed in CIBC. Cant even login. Cant copy and paste, cant save login, and errors.
After reading the reviews, was wary about using ... spent time talking to support because I was able to reproduce ... 1. Connection failures I was logged in on website at same time as trying to login on app ... not sure why, but they enforce a one log in at a time policy ... logout of website and then try app ... for me, that fixed connection issue. 2. Username not saved. This one actually is because of 1 above ... one I fixed 1, and got a successful login, my username was saved. 3. Login failure due to User Agreement. Simple ... log into website, go under User Preferences and view agreements ... make sure they are all checked, else it wont let you log in. All of this are pain in ... CIBC could at least give better pop up / error msgs ... but, so far, app does work. Now if they would only update app and bring in TouchID ...
Impossible to enter amount of shares on the trade order - it opens a "phone dial" keyboard with no decimal "." sign. Unbelievable that CIBC doesnt have money to hire a proper developer for its trading app.
Please fix your glitch of the app and enable Touch ID for quicker login. The glitch is that you cant save your account no# and it appears as blank. Please add the feature to create new watchlist on a mobile device. I only can create one on a laptop and then my phone will have an interrupted connection error.
The CIBC Banking app is great, when are you going to update this app to match? Touch ID and remembering account number are needed to make this app useful.
I always get errors when I try to make a trade. This app is useless.
Works really well for me, I just use it to do E-transfers and check my balance here and there and it works well enough for that. Crashes rarely, the card remembering function works properly. Overall I have had really no issues and recommend the app to other CIBC bankers!
When is the touch ID will be added to the investors edge app? We have the technology for the online banking... We should be able to have more then a list of 10 quote also. We also should have access to news feed from the stock were following.
This has got to be the worst app - not to say the people on the other end even know what theyre doing. Their traders cant get anything right 8/10 times
Log in is difficult and doesnt work properly.
After waiting for years for a tablet app they come out with another glorified phone app. They have a banking app for tablet but not a brokerage app. When using this on my iPad it is very unprofessional and does not look good at all. Very Very disappointed. Shame on you CIBC.
CIBC is the leader in innovation but it always bugged me this app was not updated to match the features of the mobile banking app. You would think something high value clients use would result in a better experience but seeing the new interface makes the wait worth it because it is amazing. Kudos CIBC.
Nice, clean look, easy to see & use. Its too bad they still havent formed a proper iPad version.
Love the new interface. This is a nice upgrade from CIBC and cut above the rest out there!
